Large Account Management – From Contacts to Contracts
FAS.research, Vienna
2004
Project Description:
The network represents director interlock relationships between Fortune 2000
companies in a European country. We looked at how companies are connected
with one another through their board of directors, i.e. Apple and Disney
are connected through Steve Jobs. We measured which companies exert the
largest influence and what their chains of influence look like with respect
to business leads for our client's large account business.
Legend:
Nodes represent fortune 2000 companies. The larger the node, the more employees
the company has. If company A and company B share a mutual director on
their board of directors, they are linked through a line. The thicker the
line, the more directors are shared. Red nodes represent large accounts
already won. Grey Nodes represent non-clients from our client's perspective.
