Project Description:
The image shows a selection of US think-tanks and their affiliated institutions. The larger scope of the research project is to analyse the creation and diffusion of concepts, ideas and convictions through think-tanks on a global scale.

Legend:
Nodes represent institutions. Think-tanks are highlighted. Red nodes represent conservative think-tanks and their affiliates. Blue nodes represent liberal think-tanks and their affiliates. Purple nodes indicate that these institutions are linked to both, conservative as well as liberal think tanks. Think-Tank X has a line to Harvard University if a person serves in a crucial function at both institutions. The thicker the line the more people connect Think-Tank X to Harvard.
