In early February, Valerie De Icco-Streibel, our co-executive director and authorized signatory, gave a lecture on "Networks in a Time of Transition" for the third consecutive year for the Renner Institute's European Policy Academy 2023 training program in the program area "Social Network Analysis- Background, Theory and Deepening". The lecture offered a wealth of insights and perspectives on the way networks develop and evolve in a changing world. The lecture was designed to help participants to broaden their understanding of networks and their importance to society and the economy. De Icco-Streibel also focused in particular this year on the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence on our attention span and thus on our ability to sustain (core) relationships.
